It's always interesting to see how some of the very best college basketball players in the country fall to round 2, behind some guys who really weren't that good. I'm going to take out Blake Griffin from this just to make it a little more fair, but really, which is the better college team, round 1 or round 2?
Round 1:
C: Hasheem Thabeet / BJ Mullens
PF: Jordan Hill / Tyler Hansbrough
SF: Terrence Williams / Earl Clark
SG: James Harden / Demar Derozan
PG: Tyreke Evans / Johnny Flynn / Steph Curry / Ty Lawson
Round 2:
C: Dejuan Blair / Goran Suton
PF: Jeff Pendergraph / Dante Cunningham
SF: Sam Young / Dejuan Summers
SG: Jodie Meeks / Marcus Thornton
PG: Nick Calathes / Patrick Mills / Jack McClinton
Is there not a case to be made for Round 2? Probably would actually start Cunningham over Pendergraph...and probably should have gotten Darth Vaden on the squad..Most of you would probably start Patty Mills over Calathes too I'm sure...I think Round 2 competes at worst though.

ReplyDeleteNow that the NBA draft is over, you guys might as well take a 3 month hiatus til NFL starts.
I plan on going all-out on baseball while sprinkling in some nfl stuff and some random pewch happenings...though you're right, without the NBA or the NFL our blog is probably dead.
