Michael Kay is a Douchebag

Did anyone catch his home run call Wednesday night? You would've thought they just hit a walk-off in game 7 of the world series. Instead, Johnny Damon simply brought them to within 3-2 of the lowly Nationals in the bottom of the 9th...in June. Pewch.

And right now he is going on and on about what a great thing the Yankees are doing by offering a free ticket to any fan with a ticket to today's game - used or unused. Now I'm not going to knock the Yanks for this, but they are offering a bleachers, or other scrub, cheap ticket to a "non-premium" game...I mean, they delayed this game what 5 hours? How about the guy/gal who paid those ridiculous prices for really good seats that couldn't sit around for 5 hours; now they get to go sit with their backs against the wall in the left field corner to watch the Yanks pound the pulp out of Horacio Ramirez and the Royals on a 105 degree day in mid-August? Sure they didn't have to do this, but do we really have to hear about what a great deed the organization is doing when clearly they fucked over tons of fans by delaying a game for 5 hours...would they even do this if they were still selling games out? ...not to mention the simple fact of the ticket price debacle which is Yankee Stadium.

By the way, Mulldog might be front page on the local newspaper with a story tomorrow.

  1. Better hope bannister doesnt throw for the royals in that non-premium game or I'm afraid yanks fans go home upset.
